eri > ā́sa in other Indo-European languages (1)

Turner’s A Comparative Dictionary of the Indo-Aryan Languages says Sanskrit word ā́sa means “ashes and light dust” in its masculine form. He also lists the cognates of ā́sa in other Indo-European languages:

Prakrit āsa-; Kati or Katei asə; Waigalī ásä; Prasun ā́sə; Pashai ā́sək; Shuṃashti ā́sik.

All these cognates of ā́sa originate from the Tamil root eri.
